11-26-11 Expired Available Domains and More
I decided to also post a list of domains that expired and WERE registered along with the list of still available expired domains. This helps give an idea of which expiring domains are getting registered immediately. Again, I am listing mostly my favorite tld’s outside of .com, .net and .org as there is so much info and sites that already cover these extensions. And the amount of .com’s, .net’s and .org’s that expire everday is overwhelming. To put this in perspective here are some figures. These are how many domains expired in the last 24 hours in these extensions:
.com: 62635
.net: 8910
.org: 4731
.biz: 1216
.us: 903
.tv: 549
.me: 403
.co: 328
While doing this research I came across some interesting figures and things regarding .info. I have not looked into .info much before but .info has the 2nd largest amount of domains expiring only beaten by .com. There were 13753 .info domains that expired yesterday and that looks about normal. Another interesting thing are the .info domains that got reregistered immediately when they dropped. Something is going on that is a bit confusing to me so I am going to do some more research and I will post on it in the next few days. I am interested in some of the .info’s that are getting registered. I understand a .info can be registered for as little as $2.99 but this still doesn’t justify to me what seems to be extremely low quality registrations and lots of them. Domains such as these were grabbed when they dropped – and there are many, many more such as these:

I am going to do some more research into .info and I will post more on the subject. There must be more to these .info registrations that I am just not getting.
Another interesting trend that has caught my attention is every single lll.co gets registered it seems, regardless of the quality of the letters, and this also seems to be the case with lll.us.
