I can’t believe the year is over, it went so quick, they say time flies when you’re having fun and I had a blast last year so it’s no wonder it flew by. Here are a few of my favorite domain things in 2013, these are in no particular order and I am sure I forgot somebody because it’s New Year’s Eve and I am already celebrating, so feel free to post great 2013 people, places, and things that I might have overlooked. Anyway Happy New Year and Thank You everybody that I mentioned here and everybody I forgot, I really appreciate y’all.
Francois and Domaining.com, I can’t even thank Francois enough, for everything, and his Domaining.com site is one of my all time favorite things this year, that site is probably why you are reading this right now. Thank You and Happy New Year Francois.
Another one of my favorite things this year was the DomainSherpa.com Domain Review Shows, Michael Cyger had a great idea and he pulled it off and it’s great, nice job Michael, I will be waiting impatiently to fill in when one of the real Sherpa’s can’t make it in 2014, I think I can fake it until I make it, also let’s do a few more Sherpa Challenges in 2014. Happy New Year Sherpa.
I have been obsessing all year on where I stand in Shane’s Domain Blogger Review he posted in May, I reposted about it here and I said I was pretty sure I was number 6. One of the best in the Industry, loved, adored, and deserving, then again I might be number 30. Worthless, or number 33. Good blog. Social misfit but funny if you get to know him, or number 35. Writer may be clinically insane and quality of posts depends on quality of daily medicine, it’s hard to tell but I am pretty sure if I wasn’t number 6 in May I am now, lol. Happy New Year Shane.
Elliot’s Weekly Brokerage Listings was one of my favorite things in 2013, I like to post the best names I have and then see how many “dislikes” they get, I get lots of dislikes. Something I liked this year was the rebranding of ElliotsBlog.com to DomainInvesting.com, what a great name right? I am pretty sure Elliot decided to rebrand on this domain after reading my Critique of the Pro’s Domains post, if you haven’t read it yet you should, I review Berkens, Scwhartz, Dicker and Howe (and Silver) domains lol, I think this post put the pressure on and Elliot stepped up and rebranded on DomainInvesting.com, how cool is that? Nice job Elliot. 😎 And I got listed on Elliot’s Resources page, cha ching. Happy New Year Elliot.
I read every single post at TheDomains.com this year, seriously every single post, this is how I stay informed, but I had to take a speed reading course to be able to do this, otherwise there was not enough actual time in 2013 to read all their posts at normal reading speeds. As a matter of fact they posted 6 more UDRP articles since I started writing this so I will go speed read those right now and be back in an hour. Happy New Year Michael and Team.
Rick Schwartz and RicksBlog.com, I just like Rick and pretty much everything he says and writes, and boy can he write, I have to take breaks when I am reading his posts, not breaks like coffee breaks, I have to take breaks to go speed read the dozen or so TheDomains.com posts that get posted in the same amount of time it takes to read one of Rick’s posts. Also he started the Domain Hall Of Shame this year, how cool is that? Thanks Rick and Happy New Year. PS – Let’s try another Joint Venture this year? 😉
Frank Schilling, DNS and IT. Parking at InternetTraffic.com in 2013 was much better than my parking income at other parking lots in 2012, and I really like the broker thing, I don’t have to mess with every $60 and $100 offer on every domain, your brokers do that, lol, nice job Frank and Happy New Year (Frank is a little intimidating to me so I didn’t make any jokes or snide remarks about him).
Owen Frager, personally I really like all the links Owen posts, I know everybody doesn’t but I do, I don’t have time to go find all this great info Owen finds because I am too busy reading Mike and Rick’s posts, so thank you Owen for taking the time to find all these informative articles. But what I like best is that Owen noticed and started posting about my “beautiful mind” last May but my site got hacked that day (one of many hacks last year) so he never finished saying how beautiful my mind was, he posted my site was “offline at press time which will limit what we say now- check back for expanded version“, I keep checking back for the expanded version but I haven’t seen it yet, my site is back online now Owen. Anyway this will be something we can all look forward to in 2014, Happy New Year Owen.
Konstantinos Zournas at OnlineDomain.com, thank you for pointing out exactly how many days I took off from blogging in 2013, I wasn’t even sure anybody read my blog except BullS and then I read your post about me taking 7 days in a row off, I couldn’t believe it, even I didn’t remember those 7 days, actually those weren’t days off, the truth is I got behind on reading TheDomains.com posts and I needed those 7 days to catch up. Happy New Year Konstantinos.
My silent partner Manos, he is a silent partner so that is all I can say. Happy New Year Manos and Thank You for EVERYTHING.
DomainGang.com, what can I say about Domain Gang other than they are extremely clever and funny right? Actually I had a really clever funny intelligent humorous comment to post about these guys but I am not going to post it because I am sure it is so clever and funny it will just get misunderstood. Happy New Year Domain Gang.
GoDaddy.com transfer coupons, Happy New Year Bob.

You have a good eye for spotting good domains. Please don’t stop posting these lists and I have no problem with going through double or triple the length of your current lists.
Thanks for the time you put into these lists especially since you don’t get anything in return. Please try to put GoDaddy affiliate link somewhere so I can click it now and then and pass some revenue to you.
Great post. All of the things on your 2013 favorites list are my favorites also.
Now THAT is how you thank people. Great post.
