I was writing this thing on new Donuts TLD’s and trying to get some facts I am not completely clear on, I contacted a few of the registrars and got different answers and information, in fairness it is Sunday and I was pleased they even answered the phone and online chats on Sunday but I am sure it is the graveyard shift so I will call back on Monday during better hours and try and get more accurate information before I post it.
A few funny things happened though, besides wrong information about pricing and renewals and premiums one of the support staff at one of the registrars told me I could find out everything I needed to know at Donuts.com lol, I think they meant Donuts.co, that made me laugh, and then when I went to Donuts it said “Please contact your Donuts accredited registrar for pricing and further information.” That’s funny right?

Mark Cuban- if you make it hard for people to buy your stuffs or the selling process sucks, your business will fail
Discussion.TV nice domain, but I can’t backorder it via name.com
Hi Ru,
Name.com is a first come first serve backorder, so only one person can backorder a name, the first to get it, if name.com gets the name it does not go to auction like at NameJet and Snap it goes to the bo holder, so it’s a good deal but they don’t catch many good .com’s.
You could not back order that name because it looks like my partner got the bo and got the name, you have to be quicker lol…
