  1. Good story Mark.
Maybe a 6-figure offer will change your mind. :)

Two years ago, you could barely give away NNNNN .com; I picked up a few for reg fee, the others for a song. I have two without “4,” one with a “44,” and the rest have 247 in them (as in 24/7).

Now, all of sudden, they’re heating up.

Are the Chinese driving this five-number mania, I wonder?

    Hi Mark,
Any chance you will reveal a little more? Product line? Industry?

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Mark,

There are some people whom i always look for their posts in domaining.com.it was Shane few months ago but you have taken his place.

no offense but i wonder if taking too many ads and sponsors on your blog, focusing on paid listings limits your scope and subject of your articles.

    just thinking loud.

    • Mark says:

Hi Faith, thank you for the compliment, I’m flattered.

I am not sure about other bloggers but I never put up paid ads because I didn’t want the pressure of having to post if I didn’t feel like it, I assume if somebody pays to put an ad up on my site they expect me to post regularly and keep the traffic flowing, even though I have posted regularly I don’t want to feel I have to based on others expectations, but I have recently put some paid ads up so we will see how that works out, hopefully I won’t just start posting just for the sake of posting.

Also, I don’t feel Shane does this, his picks posts are always relevant imo, good names worthy of bidding on…
