I didn’t post for the last 2 days, I have no good excuse, I had some friends visiting but mostly I think I was experiencing internet burnout, it happens. The good news is I finally made some sales this week and they actually paid, that is like an extra bonus these days, in my 15 years of buying and selling domains I have never experienced so many no pays as I have lately.
I suppose this is to be expected when I am trying to make small 3 and 4 figure sales on aftermarkets, I am new to the 3 and 4 figure sales, I used to just deal in .com and I basically just ignored most offers or countered with some 5 or 6 figure prices, try and weed out the serious buyers from the lookiloos and lowballers, I figured if somebody really wanted one of my domains they would keep bugging me about it, and my .com’s paid for themselves with parking income and banner farms so I didn’t have to sell them.
Now I am doing alot of dealing in .me and .tv and most of these are are not 5 and 6 figure domains, they are 3 and 4 figure domains, and it definitely seems it is harder to get paid for a 3 or 4 figure sale through an aftermarket than it is a 5 figure sale negotiated direct or through a broker.

SeedCentral.com – Sell non GMO seeds if you can find any
T8T.com – Always have to list the 3C .com’s, that 8 can’t hurt

Just as frustrating as a “non paying bidder” is a “non transferring seller”…..I am currently experiencing the latter and it is very frustrating. The integrity of domain auctions has a direct value on all domains. The major auction platforms has not done well to protect both the buyer and seller, and thus the whole domain industry suffers…….
