Do any of you have your domains at Moniker.com? I don’t but I did get a name at SnapNames.com last year and it ended up at Moniker, I forgot to list it in my inventory system and I don’t remember getting any renewal reminder emails when it expired last month. I saw a similar name in an auction recently and it reminded me of this domain I got last year so I checked the whois and it was at Moniker and had expired on August 31st, so I went to login and it wouldn’t let me, I was using the correct login info but it didn’t work now, I did the forgot my password thing but that didn’t work either.
So I sent a support ticket last week and they asked for my email, my address, the domain name, my phone number, etc. No problem, all my info is correct and up to date, I submitted the info and never heard back? How hard is it to get back to me with a password reset? Anyway today it was 31 days since expired so I figured I better call them since they were not getting back to me, I held for about 30 minutes and they finally answered, the gal was very nice and she sent me an email with a new username and password.
I logged in successfully and tried to renew the domain and it was very confusing, it reminded me why I don’t have my names at Moniker.com. I guess the name got renewed successfully but nothing at the site let me know this, I had to call and hold for 30 minutes again to have the guy look and tell me the domain was successfully renewed.
I do like that I was still able to renew the domain with a regular renewal fee at Moniker after 31 days of expiration, if it had been at NameCheap or DomainMonster or a bunch of others they would have the domain in auction already…

ImageShot.com – Two words that go together pretty well
MySly.com – I like domains that rhyme, but not sure what I would do with this
NewSonic.com – It’s the New Sound, not fast food
NightclubDesign.com – This one has the most bids at NameJet today
PoppyField.com – Good name if opium ever becomes legal lol
PopVinyl.com – I am not so crazy about pop music but I do still love vinyl
UPVB.com – 4L that starts with the word Up?
Zimeo.com – Might be too close to Vimeo for me, don’t make a vid site

Its extremely confusing, Mark. I ended up accidentally renewing a dozen or so domains. I won a domain via SnapNames auction recently and it was placed in a new account with a new password, even though I have a heap of domains in my usual account?

I had domains with Moniker but I am transferring them all out. I tried to renew a domain once and could find how. I then found it but this must be the stupidest renewal option I have ever seen.
My god, these software engineers know nothing about domain names!!!
