I have received lots of weird threats and offers on my domains over the years, sometimes people get really irritated when they want a domain I have had for 10-15 years and I am asking more than they want to pay or can afford, and I still get unique interesting inquiries, here is one I am just now receiving through DNS on a .org domain I got a few years back, apparently these people registered a not so great variation on my .org last month and now they want my .org, I am not posting the domain but for example lets say I have DumbBlonde.org and these people are using Dumblonde.org with the one B and now they want the correct spelling:
Comments: I own *********org however, the nature of a .org is that it is not run for profit, so what you are doing here is against the nature of the domain that it is being sold on.
Comments: Please could you reply to me, I need to know. I have offered you $30 and you withdraw ownership, because *********.org is a non-profit entity, we cannot afford more than that.
Comments: In the terms of use of a .org domain and I quote “Not-for-profit entities” you are doing this for profit and that is against restrictions.
Comments: I have tried to make an offer of £30 however, I would be perfectly happy to report you to nominet, as .org domains are made for charities and non-profit companies, you are actually going against that by selling for profit. I do hope that you may even give it to me for my price or lower as I cannot afford this domain if it is going for thousands because my website does not make money it covers costs.
Comments: I still have not recieved an e-mail from you regarding this domain, please reply.

Once I’ve got a similar inquiry from a “non-profit” association in Sonoma County, CA, they offered me $100 for a .com (they owned the .org), but at the end I decided to give it for free …
Maybe I was too kind … but they didn’t even say “thank you” when I transferred it to them … weird people …
The domain is SonomaCountyLodging.com, no problem in disclosing the name.
How do you know they are non-profit?
NON_Profit still can make money.

I’ve done a quick research online about their association accounts.
And yes, maybe they could have paid for it.
True, non-profit can make some money.
That time I decided to be kind, that was a sort of one-off, and if they are laughing at me, no worries, what goes around comes around, you know karma right? 😉
I donated one domain to one organization and to be fair I told them to –Please put this in the “About” section – for example-this SonomaCountyLodging.com is donated by the BullS Inc organization.

I’ve never given away a domain but I have giving people way more advice than I should have w/o getting paid.

The way these people are offering you $30 looks like they are in actual offering $300k and are behaving like there is no response from your end. Lot of morons out there and plenty of room left for people to understand the actual value of domain names…
But one of the funniest moments was when a guy from UK offered us to pay for a .org domain with $500 and a bag of manure … LOL! 😀
And it was not an agriculture-related domain … the name is DocumentManagementSystem.org …
