  1. Mark,
Once I’ve got a similar inquiry from a “non-profit” association in Sonoma County, CA, they offered me $100 for a .com (they owned the .org), but at the end I decided to give it for free …
Maybe I was too kind … but they didn’t even say “thank you” when I transferred it to them … weird people …
The domain is SonomaCountyLodging.com, no problem in disclosing the name.

How do you know they are non-profit?

      NON_Profit still can make money.

Andrea- they are laughing at you , and talking about you- what a sucker!! that guy gave the dot com to us for free…ha ha ha ha

      • Hi BullS,
I’ve done a quick research online about their association accounts.
And yes, maybe they could have paid for it.
True, non-profit can make some money.
That time I decided to be kind, that was a sort of one-off, and if they are laughing at me, no worries, what goes around comes around, you know karma right? ๐Ÿ˜‰

I donated one domain to one organization and to be fair I told them to โ€“Please put this in the โ€œAboutโ€ section โ€“ for example-this SonomaCountyLodging.com is donated by the BullS Inc organization.

          That it. Win-Win case.

I’ve never given away a domain but I have giving people way more advice than I should have w/o getting paid.

I guess you do hope for good Karma. :)

  2. The way these people are offering you $30 looks like they are in actual offering $300k and are behaving like there is no response from your end. Lot of morons out there and plenty of room left for people to understand the actual value of domain names…

  3. But one of the funniest moments was when a guy from UK offered us to pay for a .org domain with $500 and a bag of manure … LOL! ๐Ÿ˜€
And it was not an agriculture-related domain … the name is DocumentManagementSystem.org …

BS- Thanks for the Christmas card! Christmas came early this year for thousands of people who received a box of poop in the mail last week.
