I often wonder what watching tv will look like in 10 years? As slowly but surely the line between internet and tv blurs it should get really interesting. I imagine advertising will be going through a huge evolution, I envision some great interactivity that could really be effective for advertisers.
For instance I am watching a cooking show and I click to get some recipes, I also like the pots and pans they are cooking with so I click on the pots and pans and it pauses my show and takes me to more info on the pots and pans, when I am finished looking at and/or ordering some pots and pans it goes back to my paused cooking show, and suggests some other shows and things I might like based on much more pertinent and relevant information than today’s tv commercials have on me. Great targeted traffic for advertisers.
Then I answer a video call, start a video chat with a few business associates, check my email, go “like” something on Facebook, put in that last minute bid at an Ebay auction, and finally go back and finish watching my paused tv show, when the show is over I go search for video content on anything else I can possibly dream up, and I find it, and all this while Google and I just sit on my couch and watch tv, getting a better idea of who I am and what I really want. I gotta think content and data providers will be banking also. Much of this is already happening I know, but I can only imagine what tv will look like in 10 years, the possibilities are endless and exciting…

Thanks for looking…
There are some nice picks here Mark. I tend to gravitate to names that are either products or services and tend to stay away from brandable names. I personally like AudioComponents.net. I chuckled a bit when you wrote looks like a site that will be spamming me soon for Discount-Handbags.com. I can’t seem to get rid of them too
I like product and service names also Adi. I am not so sure about .net anymore though. I have some pretty decent .net (GoldJewelry.net, Furnishings.net, Utensils.net, Smoothies.net, etc) but they just don’t get offers that I can accept, I am sure I am delusional at this point…
