I don’t know what’s going to happen either but at the end of the day there is creditcard.com,creditcard.net,creditcard.org,creditcard.biz,creditcard.us,creditcard.de,creditcard.co.uk, creditcard.co,creditcard.fm,creditcard.it and on and on and on and on plus add on the 2000 more gtlds that are coming. You get the drift there are right now 280 possibilities but there will be only one, yes I repeat only one credit.card so it makes we wonder what will be better 5 years from now. I agree if I had to choose right now absolutely hands down creditcard.com but I am not sure if that holds true in the future. You never know because in the beginning of time everyone wanted .NET so who knows.

As I said in my previous insight, this new gtlds …who knows how it will take off. It will take years to get the fruits to ripen but by then, another pile of sh*it will happen and then another and then another….
    but for now

    just enjoy what we have!!

I liked one or two dot coms on this list but the .nets have a few good gems. I especially like LiabilityInsurance.net.

Nice findings on .com. Sure things may change but as usual slowly.

When you out it like that, Mark, new tlds make sense! It’s just now there will be even more domain names chasing the same content (though increasing).

The result? More parking? Has to be!

Look, we all need a new challenge from .com etc. They have to be as good as credit.cards or not far behind. It’s a matter of well any gaps open up.

The new gTLD’s will flatten the domain market for some period of time, eventually when buyers, sellers and traders realize the public will not pick-up the new extensions for regular use, except for a few, they will fade as also ran internet gimmicks. Most of the ones okayed are lame at best. Why would sheraton.hotel be any more appealing than sheraton.sx? It will not. Sheraton.com will take all the hits, as it should.

It was a poor decision by ICANN to allow extensions greater than three characters. You’ll see. The Net is working fine, so somebody has to screw it up.

Thanks for the feedback Doktor. ICANN will probably offer up remaining 2 character extensions after all this blows over, lol…
