My broker at DNS negotiated a deal on one of my .com domains, it went back and forth for quite a while, the buyer was a legitimate US financial services company, once a figure was agreed upon I assumed it would be smooth sailing but the buyer started coming up with payment issues and problems and complaining about escrow fees, etc.
So the great folks at DNS (my broker and the legal team) put together a contract that was somewhat complicated and took some time but was customized for the buyers terms (some $$ by wire, some by CC, spread over some time, etc), like I said it got a bit complicated, but it was a decent amount so everybody put some time and effort in.
When everything was ready and agreed upon by all parties they sent the contract to me and I signed it and sent it back, then they sent it over to the buyer and today he gets it and says he/they decided they didn’t want to spend that much, would I take a lesser amount that was about 25% less, and that I had already passed on? I said “NO #$%^&*(*@”.
My broker was a little pissed too, I felt bad he spent so much time on it, we both agreed though, NO WAY, even if I would have taken this amount in some desperate moment of chasing a sale or something, I don’t like people that reneg on an agreed upon deal, especially one that has been in the works for weeks. What is kind of funny is after I agreed to this amount I was having sellers remorse, but when I shake on something it is a done deal, I do not reneg, so I was kind of glad when these jicky bankers went south. But again I do feel bad for my broker…

Thanks for stopping by…
Something fishy and it really stinks…
banker, financial service with lots of money and dickering around with money/escrow and details, when they have their own lawyers and worst of all they know how dick around with people like us and they do it all the time and they are good at it.
This is like when you are closing on the house and the last minute the mortgage broker throw in some f**&^ fees and you are left hung, if not the deal goes to someone.
** this is what we called the last minute strategy deal breaker, playing with emotion when you are at most vulnerable
Don’t feel bad Marka-son, something big will come your way soon.
Have a good one.
Anway, marijuana123.com – make me a deal where I can smoke my life away
